Our Story

Expressions Art Gallery was founded by Major & Izzy Assour in May 2008. Located on Frishman Street in the center of the new art gallery district in Tel-Aviv, Expressions Gallery aims at promoting and supporting Israeli artists  of quality locally and abroad. The gallery’s inventory ranges from sculpture, painting, photography and mixed media with a speciality in sculptures. Expressions was the first gallery in Israel to display the works of Ruth Bloch and Tolla Inbar, major Israeli sculptors.

 

Furthermore, the gallery participates at several Art fairs in the world every year in order to open Israeli art to a larger audience.

Major Assour has been working in the field of art for over 26 years. He began his career representing Israeli Artists around the world from Australia to the Far East, before broadening his business to include international artists. He also deals with private clients and has produced over 300 shows in his lifetime. Major runs Expressions Art Gallery in Tel Aviv, Israel.
